the arts, sister!

I am writing a persuasive on the importance of the arts!
here is a sad and scary taste of my writing flava...

"The arts provide a spotlight for the soul. Just think for a second. Think of every canvas madly brushstroked or picture painstakingly drawn or song warbled through the fear of rejection. Think of any story that meant something, a sculpture that made you think, a photo that captured a rare, flickering glance of purity in pain. Think of any speech that cried out to the rage of a nation unjustly torn and you will know why Wilson needs art programs."

I know it is simple and slightly unsettling, but that is my rave of the day. Sees yous!
